Well, while I was on Gauntlet I won my first ever tournament. It was competition in treasure drop, variant with holes, which I like pretty much because it is very unpredictable (thanks to the holes) and when something is unpredictable, I have more chance to win. Anyway, I got some poe and harpsichord which barely fits in main hold of my sloop. But I will not spare time that comes learning chords, I feel that I need to set sails soon...

gauntlet

After short vacation on paradise called Tichka Plateau I headed with my mates to Gauntlet, an outpost island in Osprey Archipelago which means that I officially left my home! Yarr! Believe it or not, Gauntlet island, poor as it is, suffered so far over 30 blockades. I found that the only building on island that provides basic ship supplies such cannonballs and fine rum long time ago had perfect name: "Insert POE to Continue"...

Today I made quick trip to Tichka Plateau. Tichka Plateau, such isolated place all in wilderness and intact nature, is known as one of favourite vacation places where pirates from Ibis Archipelago, after hard sea battles and all day work in their stalls, like to come and relax in quiet atmosphere and fresh sea air. Tichka is also one of the two islands in whole ocean that spawns pokeweed berries, the essential element for making enamels, paint, hair color tonic and beard control wax. There are rumors that berries also gives strength to manhood but it is not confirmed yet...

Today I reached Kasidim island. Again short trip due to not enough people to do ship duties, hope it will be better once holidays are over. While I was on Kasidim island I took oportunity to check construction working on new Explorers' Hall:

Explorers' Halls are quite new type of buildings that are now available on almost all major islands and are good starting point for pirates that are interested in expeditions. They offer expedition charts that pirates can use to guide their vessels to different kind of adventures. I think I am still too green to get involved in one of such adventure but during this trip, as my experience grow, I'll be there too...

Yay! It finally happened, I am on my journey! At very first day of the mission I went East to the island Arakoua where we were on the expedition hauling treasure from the ship wreck called Lonely Barbel. Then we turned south to the Kiwara island where we ported to wait for the night. During our trip, beside treasure hauling from the sunken ship, we were involved in total 4 battles with barbarians. At the end, we ported because of lack of the jobbers. During all day I was accompanied by Maligos, my old crew mate and one of the crewmates that are still in the crew since I joined. He was helping me handling the guns...
