After short vacation on paradise called Tichka Plateau I headed with my mates to Gauntlet, an outpost island in Osprey Archipelago which means that I officially left my home! Yarr! Believe it or not, Gauntlet island, poor as it is, suffered so far over 30 blockades. I found that the only building on island that provides basic ship supplies such cannonballs and fine rum long time ago had perfect name: "Insert POE to Continue"...

In spite of appearance, Gauntlet has been a profitable island, hence the high number of blockades. It used to be the gate to the Osprey archipelago before Ambush was colonizated, controlling thus the Kraken's blood market.
As for the name of the Fort, it makes reference to the old videogame "Gauntlet". The flag Ghostly Intention, that used to be an ally of Ascalon, renamed so after Gauntlet IX.
